Content 03 · Expression & impressionWhy does the same face look different in photos?
Are some faces simply bad at being photographed?
There is no face that is inherently bad at being photographed. You may simply not have found the angle and expression that suit you best yet.
Even a small change in the direction of the face can change the jawline. The height of the chin, tension in the shoulders, eyes, and corners of the mouth can all significantly change the impression.
Can a single expression really make you look more attractive?
Yes. Without changing your face surgically, learning an expression that suits you can create a much brighter and more attractive impression.
It is not about following someone else’s standard. It is about finding, step by step, the right intensity in your eyes, movement of your mouth corners, and way to release tension in your face.
Can you discover an expression you did not know you had during a shoot?
This happens often. When we show the photos, many people say, “I had an expression like this?” or “I didn’t know I could look this way.”
We have not created a new face. We have found a good expression that was already there, but that the person had not noticed.

Frequently asked questions about expression
Do you also teach people how to make a flattering expression?
Yes. During the shoot, we show you how to make the expression that suits you best.
Together, we adjust how to use your eyes, how to move the corners of your mouth, and where to release tension in your face.
Can I use that expression in everyday life?
Yes. In fact, we encourage you to try it in your everyday life.
Try using the good eye expression and look you discovered in the photo when meeting people. Even without changing your face, a different expression can change your mood and impression.
A good photo begins with expression
A good photo does not begin with heavy retouching. It begins by finding the face direction, eyes, and expression that suit the person best at the moment of shooting, then naturally refining only what is needed.
G.STUDIO focuses on finding the best version that already exists within each person, rather than changing the face.
